Fireworks Prohibited at Shorehill Estates

Although the lighting of fireworks on the 4th of July has never been a community sponsored event we know many of you have over the years enjoyed lighting fireworks at the Canal on the 4th of July.  Due to the increasing risks of fire, liability and potential injury to persons and/or property, lighting of fireworks within Shorehill Community property boundaries, including the shared beach, dock, piers, and roads is prohibited.

Board members are not responsible for policing the neighborhood nor beach areas for illegal or inappropriate behaviors. It is up to all property owners to share the responsibility of helping to ensure we maintain a safe and respectful community.  If you see something say something. If you observe inappropriate or illegal behaviors please contact Mason County Sheriff's Department.

We hope you all have a safe and happy 4th of July and a great summer.

Saturday September 8th - Fall Work Party and Community Meeting

Saturday, September 8th, beginning at 8:30 am is our Fall community work party and meeting.
Our plan is to do our normal maintenance, some painting on the beach house, resetting posts on round about, staining on the pier and swim floats and ensuring ditches are clear for good drainage this Winter.  We can use all of your help. 

Meet at the beach for sign in and job assignments.   Remember, you get $50.00 off your dues for working at the work party.   We'll have coffee and Pau's doughnuts for motivation.

Timeframe for the day will be a little different.

Work Day:    8:30 am - 1:00 pm (Bring your gloves and handtools for weeding)
Potluck:        2:00 pm - 2:30 pm (Please bring a dish of your choosing)
Meeting:       2:30 pm - 3:30 pm (approximate end time)

June 9th Barbara Radnich Passed Away

On June 9th Shorehills lost our beloved,  long-time neighbor, Barbara Radnich.  We will greatly miss her sweet spirit and loving demeanor.  Barbara and her amazing daughters and granddaughter have given so much to our community over the years.   So many of us have enjoyed her great cooking, warm hugs and her being an active part of our potlucks, work parties and meetings. Barbara will be greatly missed.  Our love and condolences to Judy, Karen, Linda and Sara.
