Memorial Services for Fritzi Highberg Dec 10th 1:00 PM

Fritzi and John Highberg have been long members of the Shorehill Community. Fritzi was a wonderful woman. We will miss her smile and her sweet/positive spirit.

Highberg, Arlyle Jean

Arlyle Jean HIGHBERG Born on June 26th 1932 passed away on November 25th 2008 from lung cancer. She was 76 years old. The daughter of Clarence and Clara Fritz was born and raised in Wausau, Wisconsin. To her many friends she was known as simply "Fritzi". After graduation from Wausau High she went to Northwest Institute of Medical Technology in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she met John, her lifelong husband. They joined hands on June 14th, 1952. Fritzi worked as a laboratory/x-ray technician in Seattle, Wichita and Idaho. She later became interested in real estate and was an agent on the Eastside for over 20 years. Fritzi loved the challenge and especially each and every client. Many of whom she has remained in contact with to this date. She is preceded in death by her parents and son John Gregory Highberg. She leaves behind her husband John of 56 years, daughter Sandra Kay Sadowski and son-in-law Steven Sadowski, grandchildren Tyler, Erik, Nicole, Gregger and Kara; great grandson Jacob, sister in law Velura Highberg, nephews Roy Scott, Bruce and Gary Highberg, niece Lynne Watkins as well as kin in Wausau and a host of friends. Fritzi will be remembered for her love of family and living life. She was a loving, caring woman who loved people and was loved in return. Fritzi was an avid golfer, bridge player, loved to travel and spend time at their retreat on Hood Canal. Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue on Wednesday December 10th at 1:00 p.m. Remembrances should go to Somerset Women for Medic 1 and Evergreen Hospice Center in Kirkland, WA.
