May 7 is our SPRING WORK PARTY. We will be gathering
at the beach at 9:00 am. We look forward to seeing a BIG turn-out.
If you are new to the community this is the time of year we gather as a
community spending a portion of the day on community maintenance and needed
repair projects followed by a community meeting. We would love to have
you come. If you have been a property owner for some time but haven't been attending, we hope this will be the year you can join us. It is a great time to meet your neighbors and invest in your community. Those who participate also
receive a $50.00 reduction on their dues.
We will meet at 9:00 am, work until about 1:30 pm and then
reconvene at 2:30 pm for our community meeting. If you know of
maintenance that needs to be done around the community, please let me know
before the meeting by sending an email to gaylerobbins@juno.com.
Planned projects include:
Beach and Community Entry Vegetation Cleanup/Maintenance
· Water Reservoir/Pump House Area Maintenance (digging around
reservoir to improve drainage/ improving access/cleaning up vegetation
·
Clean-up of Community Road Sides and Ditches
·
Other projects as identified
Reminders:
- Please
be sure to clean up after your dogs and cats and be respectful of shared
areas and your neighbor's property.
- As
boating begins please remember boats are not to be left tied up to the
docks for extended periods of time, preventing others from dock use.
Docks are to be used and shared equitably by all property
owners. They are not intended for long-term moorage.
- Please
also do not leave boat trailers at the beach but rather
return to your property while you are boating.
- Hood
Canal Shrimping: May 25, May 28, June 9, and June 23 from 9:00 am to
1:00 pm only.
- Fall Work Party: September 10, 2022 9:00 am - 1:30 pm followed by community meeting at 2:30 pm
- If you have NOT YET PAID your water bill or community dues please do so. Dues are due in November and water is due in March.
We will be voting on ALL board members at our Spring Community
Meeting. We would LOVE TO HAVE SOME NEW BOARD MEMBERS.
