Spring Work Party

Perfect weather. Enthusiastic people. Hard work. Lots of laughs. Success for shrimpers. The spring work party was a great success.

Thanks to Gayle for organizing the work party, to Karen and Barbara for a yummy lunch, and to everyone who chipped in to improve our community. It was a special pleasure to see long-time residents Nora, Dennis G. and Lila.

We will miss you Lin!

On April 12th 2015 our dear friend and neighbor Lin Rowan passed away.   Lin was 94 years of age and passed away peacefully at home with Shirley by his side.   He was such an amazing man.   He touched so many of our lives and was such a contributing member of our community.  Lin loved this community, the Hood Canal and all his friends and family.  He will forever be missed.  We were all so blessed to have shared a piece of this life with Lin.  Enjoy every moment you spend here and every once in a while when look out at this beautiful canal think of Lin.  He would like that.

SPRING WORK PARTY AND COMMUNITY MEETING

Next Saturday May 2nd is our SPRING WORK PARTY, POTLUCK and COMMUNITY MEETING.   Work party will begin at 9:00 am at the beach.  Please be sure to sign in so you'll get credit ($50.00 off your dues) and have a cup of coffee with your neighbors.    Please let Gayle know if there are any areas which need attention during the work party.  There will be a listing of work projects for the day for you to pick from.   Lunch will be provided for those working.


Our potluck will begin at 4:30 pm at the beach.  Please bring a dish of your choosing.  Drinks will be provided.   Community meeting will begin at 5:15 pm immediately after the potluck.
