Saturday September 13th - Community Work Party and Community Meeting

Our Fall work party and community meeting is quickly approaching.  Be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday September 13th to come be part of community clean-up, potluck and the community meeting. 


Work party days are always a great time to help with needed maintenance on community projects in preparation for winter and also to network with neighbors.


The work party begin at 8:30 am at the beach.   Be sure to sign in so you will receive credit for working which will take $50.00 off your dues for the year.   At this work party we will be doing our regular maintenance on the vegetation, ditches and road clean up as well as painting the beach house.  The work crew will enjoy lunch provided by the community.


At 4:30 pm we will have a community potluck at the beach.  Come even if you didn't have a chance to come to the work party.  Please bring a dish of your choosing.


The community meeting will begin at 5:00 pm.   The agenda will include a review of community and water finances, welcoming of new members, follow-up on old business and a discussion of any new community business. 


For those interested, Pete Goranson is also coordinating a tree trimming/cutting day for the weekend of September 20-21.   If you have trees you would like to have cut or trimmed please contact Pete.   While Pete is coordinating having someone come out to do the work, the cost will be the responsibility of each homeowner for work they have done.  We do believe it will be much cheaper though than it would be if each person had someone come out individually.  Thanks Pete for coordinating this effort.


Please plan to come.  We always have a great day and everyone helping with the maintenance makes a tremendous difference in our community.  See you on the 13th.

Fun, Food, and Games

The pictures say it all about how much fun everyone had at the annual summer picnic. As a bonus, we were pleased to welcome some of our new neighbors.

Gayle recognized the many, many, many contributions Margaret and Dennis have made to our community. We wish them all the best as they begin their next adventure in Sequim.

Thanks to Judy, Karen, Barbara, and Sandy for their hard work organizing the picnic, supervising the games, and handing out the prizes. And thanks to everyone for their contributions to the buffet.
